Sub1 Neck Compared to Silhouette Neck?

I have an EBMM Petrucci & am looking for another EBMM with a thicker neck. I like the strat style body.

Is the Sub series guitars the same neck carve as the Silhouette?

Thanks.

Yeah, the sub was pretty close to the Silo Special I played. The satin finish makes it hard to know for sure though because the brain associates the feel of the neck and the curve of the nect together. It's hard to feel a carve as being the same when they are finished so differently.

Also, the finish on the sub is substantial. By that I mean it feels thick. That doesn't mean that it is thick, it's just that the brain kind of relates it to an m&m. lol. The candy shell effect is what I call it. That effect makes the neck "seem" thicker than it really might be.

Still, I was totally impressed with the sub in all aspects. The neck was very playable and the guitar looks great.

I can't really give a comparison of the two necks, but I just bought a Sub 1 on Friday. It has the most comfortable, most playable neck that I've ever encountered. I'm extremely impressed.

Keep your eyes open if there's a Guitar Center near you. They're blowing out last year's Sub 1's for $399.
