I was just wondering if its possible to swap out a 3 band stingray preamp for a 2 band preamp? if it is how would I go about doin that?

You can do it but the prob is getting hold of 2 EQ pre-amp. As the jack will now be located on the control plate, the other one becomes obsolete (unless you use it as a pre-amp bypass).

i like to do it with my forearm. push the cap into the skin and then twist. its kinda cool.
