Well, I just arrived back from Columbus. At 2:30 am they had my step-father preped and on the table and they noticed a problem with the donor lung... so everything is on hold for the time being. I would sincerely like to thank everyone for your well wishes... it means a great deal to me (and more importantly, to him).

My step-father is an incredible person. Career millitary- 4 ground tours in Vietnam (in the Army - turned down 2 Purple Hearts) turned around enlisted in the Navy and pulled 3 carrier tours- took incredible care of my Mom a(at a time when she really needed it) and still had the strength and patience to knock me into line.

While I do not relish going through the sudden trip to Columbus again (knowing that I WILL have to over the next couple of months), I would walk through fire for this man! So once again, thank you all for keeping us in your thoughts.
