Does anyone know when the 1st ever prodution ( not lukather's ones) LUKE mk1 DOB is, and also if pos whats the serial...
Im just trying to calculate what actual number my LUKE mk1 Is,or do the serial's for each musicman guitar start at 1 then onwards and upwards or are the spread out across multiple models..
my serial is 94721. this seems a very high number considering the DOB is 8th march 1994 ...Hope this make sence....:D http://community.webshots.com/user/james833

As far as I know there is no meaning to the serial numbers. They're just made up and grabbed randomly.

Blackspy is right. The serial number is just a seial number the number don't have a significant meaning like Fenders or Gibsons.

When they assemble a Music Man guitar they reach into a box and pull out whatever serial number plate they get. The number is recorded in a database with the instruments specifications.

Sorry, Glenn |B)
