Finally found a few minutes to snag some decent photos.

You sentimental boys, I saved the original black ice guard and it's on display in the studio. (Tacked to the wall, actually. You think I need a plaque?) And I do think this guard looks pretty damned nice, don't you?

The 'current basses page' is now completely up to date!

Hey Sterling - thanks again. The boy is really attached to this color!

At least the boy got your wife's good looks--he appears to have gotten your personality. One outta two ain't bad. :D

I'd like to try that bass out. Nice.

You and anyone else that makes it out this way is more than welcome to come by and fondle the basses. I mean that, too.

And that boy IS a lot better looking than I am!

Hey love the pics shown on your web site. Particularly the Green Flamed Bongo.
I think it's great that you championed the Bongo cause.

It's also great to see that Dudley is playimg my "Fav" - an Albert Lee.
Talking of which "WHAT DID YA CALL THEM" !!!!!!!
- Well I gotta start somewhere.;)

Not sure what the question is....I called Dudley "Dudley", I do remember that.
Quote from Website:-

"Dudley Gimpel is far left, playing the George Jetson (okay, Albert Lee) guitar."

George Jetson Guitar huh! Yeah I know it's pretty mild, but hey, you championed the cause for the Bongo, and as I said, I gotta start somewhere!! :D

Ah, the George Jetson thing....you know, I'm not sure about this, but I may have heard the George Jetson description from either BP or Dudley.

JimiD first hit me with the "Jetson" tag when I joined the forum. I guess I can't argue if BP/Dudley also used the term, so that's alright then ha!
How about BP making an AL bass? - green with flames?

My guitar player calls it the "George Jetson" guitar. He just missed winning one with MM90's on Ebay recently.

Yeah I've noticed a few on there recently. They seem to have gone for a reasonable second hand price. That's what I'll be after next - an AL with MM90's, that's it then, no more !!

Whoa. I want an Albert Lee and I don't even play guitar anymore. That shape is just too cool for school.

I love the shape too.
How can you not love this ...

Funny that 'cos I play very little bass - and of all the eB basses I fancy a Bongo.
4 string
2 humbuckers
Black cherry burst
(Piezo if they do them on bongos)
I'd better go before I defect to the dark side
