The Dudepit down????

Back from Dale...he's having Bob get on it.

"That's odd. FTP is working fine. Everything is there. But the browser
won't display it.

Bob: Any ideas what's going on?"

Bob will get it fixed quickly if that is what it is. Fear not. that happens to even the best of web servers from time to time.

Between Bob and Dale I have no worries. Both are top notch but I must admit it does bring back the events of 6/8/05 when DP1 crashed and burned to mind.

This internet thing does have it's moments but I guess it still beats sitting in some strip mall space waiting to hear the door buzzer go off.

I'm still in PTSD over 6/8.

Onward and upward, Dude. Just think--on 6/8, you didn't have a house with Linda, and you weren't in bed with Big Poppa and Jack. Sounds like a successful recovery to me.

Well, except for the being in bed with BP and BH.

Eww.

Ya...we take posession of the new house tomorrow...we rented it back to the sellers for two weeks while their new home was being finished up so this weekend I'll be floating on a pool raft drinking cocktails baby!!! :D

Downside is Linda's been all over me to help pick out fabrics, window coverings, lighting fixtures, paint colors, washer & dryer, doggie doors, fiber optic lighting around the pool, what kind of tree to put in the front yard, where to put the 220 line in for her kiln and on and on...fugging chicks man!! I swear!! Very strange creatures indeed!

You'd think, "Whatever you want is fine," would be an acceptable answer. They actually expect you to care, too. What's up with that?

Oh no it won't and she is quite aware that I have a medical condition and a Dr's note. I got her pretty well trained in that department and she always maintains a minimum of two cases of Becks cold in her fridge at all times as well as a half gallon of Captain Morgan in the cupboard, although, she's now seen me in the depths of a rum binge so she's starting to grumble a bit when I pull out the Capt'n. (It's not pretty I assure you!)

She's been trying to steer me more towards the Crown Royal binges which she says I'm much better at.

I can't tell you how many times I've said those very words these past few months during the entire process. I think they think we're just being lazy when in fact we really don't care about these things. My biggest dilema is whether to go with a draught system for stick with the bottle plan.

She's out on fabric websites while I'm all over this one:

Funny... Married almost 18 years and just learning this myself! :)

Y'all ever been to the big family doings where grandpa is just sitting there silently while grandma talks and generally runs things?

He is sitting their quiet, not because he has nothing to say, but because he has learned.

IMHO
