The new Sting Ray: About to pull the trigger...

Hi all,

Anybody have any experience with the new Sting Ray yet? I have a serious Jones for a new EBMM right now and think this is the one. How does it compare to the AL SSS I wonder? All thought, ideas, ruminations are welcomed!

One has a hog body and 2 humbuckers and the other has an ash body and 3 single coils. Very different. I have the Stingray and it's probably my favorite guitar I have owned. So good.

Trigger pulled on the tobacco Hog. Gonna name it the "Baconator" and hope to get a greasy tone out of my Hotrod Deluxe. Dying for more sizzle!

Only actually played a Sterling model and loved it. Really would like to try out a EBMM version. Let us know what you think!

Let me just say this: got the Ray in today and...O...M...G. SO unbelievable. I will be doing a write up soon but I am just blown away by this guitar. The look, the feel of the neck, the tone....outstanding to say the least.
