So, I just wanted to vent quickly. This is why EVH refins aggravate me. This guy is selling this one without mentioning a refin. Perhaps he doesn't know and didn't bother to check the serial to claim ignorance upon the sale. Now, because Im absolutely OCD about guitars, I actually knew this was the guitar that Richard had refinished. Yup, last time I saw pics was from Richard over 6 months ago but I instantly recognized it. I emailed the guy but who knows if he just disregard it.

Yep, Richard was upfront and forthright. He's a great dude. That really sucks, but it doesn't surprise me. It's the society we live in; no morals or ethics.....

Yea, Richard is a great dude! I just proof read what I wrote and I think it may be taken the wrong way. Its not the refin that aggravates me, it the dishonesty in situations like this. Especially since I still want an actual green evh and for one brief second i was excited, until I clicked into the page

It does look nice though, but Holy Fack is he asking a small fortune for it. Before I bought my Green I emailed Ernieball and had the S/N checked. It still blows me away that I found it in Calgary Alberta a mile away from me.....

Nice guitar but a ridiculous price for it. Plus not mentioning the entire history of the guitar is shady. Hope it never sells.
