The Silo is almost near...

He will be too busy playing your nice spankin new silo to take pictures of it! :D

Nice one OC whats the spec?i vagley remember you telling us before...

I already played it. It's OK. No big whoop. Yeah it's a guitar. Blah blah blah. Yada yada yada.

Silos for me are so ultimate. 24 frets, HSH, Lowers pitch only piezo trem, maple boards. I'm not trying to unvail viagra's new slogan or anything but when you get a silo, you've Got Wood. It's a "my guitar can do more than your guitar" kind of guitar. Even the volume and tone knobs are placed ergonomically so you will use them. The 5 way switch configuration ( H, SS, S, SS, H) will find you a great voicing for what ever song (or section there of) you're playing. Or you could customize the wiring just a little for a scarey amount of pup selections. (with the piezo there is mathematically potential for 63 selections) The PAF PRO's are great. These guitars were designed by a guitar designer to be a guitar for guitar players. Not some prodigy super freak's idea of how a guitar should be. With all of the great guitars that EBMM produces, this is the only one that let's you be anything YOU want. I started with silos and only bought a SM because he introduced me to EBMM. I got an axis and a petrucci because I found extraordinary examples of these models. ( I give thanks that I can afford them) I would sooner give the pet and axis away then to sell my BD Silo. I have to many guitars and I need another one the same as I need a hole in my head. But if EBMM puts out a 20th anniv Silo I have a standing order with my favorite EBMM dealer for 2 of them. God I hope they are something special. I really want to be impressed. I am sure you will be.

BTW

Pete had BBQ ribs for dinner, usually doesn't wash his hands, and is looking forward to playing OC's guitar. :D  :p ;)

I'll second Norm - Silos are fantastic guitars, and a bargain considering they have the build quality of Jem's for far less money.

Would I ever trade mine for something else? Only a Steve Morse model and even then I would have to play the Morse for a while to make sure it was a good replacement.

The build quality of a JEM?
That's not very high praise. You can do better than that.

Sorry - the purported quality of a Jem, or the actual quality of a PRS.

Am I forgiven :o

Blah blah blah blah... the Silo is a nice guitar already, when do we get to the pics??

Jon,

Looks like they sent me a Benji Madden model instead of your Silo, when Nick called you this morning, he was confused about what was what, I guess.
