So I have my dreambass at home.
A white SE 2 Band Stingray String Through. Nom nom nom.
But I really want black Hardware.
So I spend some money and got Schaller Machineheads, they fit perfectly.

Unfortunately every Control Plate I ordered didn´t fit. A black Bridge and a black stringtree are on their way, I hope it will fit.

First I went to a surface-factory for powdercoating my parts, but they said it wouldn´t hold well on the springs and gearheads.

Where did you find a black bridge, I would love to put one on my bongo.

very sweet, bit like the spy v spy Ray that did the rounds a while back ( a lovely bass that was to) enjoy mate.

On the 12th there is a set of cards. Just a Sticker from ebay. But I think I´ll remove it in a few weeks.
I want a plain ebony board. Maybe when I have enough money.
As I said the bridge came from china, and it fits PERFECTLY!!!
For the control plate, I had to drill new holes, cause every plate I tried didn´t fit :(
The Knobs too, every knob I bought was too small. 6mm vs. 6,3 mm. So I bathed them in black Nailpolish :p
And now I have almost my dream Stingray, after 8 years. White, black Hardware <3

Well unfortunately I may have to drill holes in the bridge, cause my Ray is a german special edition with a factory string through configuration. But I like the Attack that I got now, without ST

damn fine looking bass......and you know, you can stain your fretboard to an ebony colour too.

there is a post floating about from some time ago,the guy did an awesome job on it,and it looks killer.

Nice. Sucks you had to go with a non MM bridge, but as long as it still sounds good it def looks cool as hell.

Ahhh, I've always thought this color combo as one of the best.

Don't forget the black pickguard screws, black strap buttons and if you could get a black nut installed you would put it over the top!

Nice work
