I noticed the hybrid is a mix of reg and super slinkies. Why not a mix of power slinkies and regular ones. I think it only makes sense for the many 1 guitar guitarists who wants to be able to to have the best of both worlds and have thick enough strings on EAD to play chunky rythms and a slightly thinner GBE strings for more bending and leads. I know there are the other skinnytop ernies but the thick strings are too thick and the thin strings too skinny. I usually played with the power slinkies and i love them but i have small hands and the thicker strings are ok but my hands get tired and cramp after doing a long session of bending and soloing. So i sent my guitar in to get setup and asked the guy to give me half power slinkies and half regular slinkies. I will find out tomorrow if i notice much difference. I havent played .10's in along time. Anyone else out there split string sets?
