This is how to get me to buy a bass...

1/2 a wind on the G?
&
the E is not tapered towards the bottom of the post

The A is almost there but could use another wrap

You guys must have better vision than me I cant tell how many winds are on the posts the E kind looks maybe alittle wierd but other than that I cant tell anything.

Same here, I thought the E looked a bit wierd, but I couldnt see anything wrong with the others.

Umm nevermind and I withdraw all previous statements I just didnt scroll down far enough to see the headstock closeup  Id like to see that G with another wrap on it.

I don't see how that'd affect my decision whether to buy it or not - you could just de-tune and tune up again, guiding the strings under each wrap, no? And I've had windings like that on the G string tuning peg on my previous bass before and it didn't seem to affect anything.

Still, great photos.

It wouldn't. If I had the cash, it'd be mine...

It never ceases to amaze me how many people put bad photos up on ebay... this guy's increased his bass's value by at least £100 by taking decent photos. But I would be bearing in mind that I'd need a new set of strings... :)

No big deal. The first thing I do when I buy a new bass is put new strings on it anyway, so I don't see what the fuss is all about.

Me either. But I do agree that the seller has increased his odds of getting what he wants by posting such good photos of the bass. If I were thinking of bidding on that bass, I wouldn't even have noticed the way the string were wound.

You Brits. with your overcast skies and pounds sterling. Man, I'm jealous! :p :D
