I didn't know you were from Toowoomba! I plaayed the Australian Country Music Festival about ten years ago. You live in an interesting town to say the least. Have y ou seen the movie deliverance?

Tiffles sent me a very fun childrens book about two best friends. Emily was mentioned it was scratched out and biff was put in its place and every time sarah was mentioned it was scratched out and Tiffles was in its place....Jack made some apearances and so did the dude.

yeah toowoomba is pretty but its a bit of a hole. ill miss it when i go to bris vegas though u know the fact that you can actually move and not hit something, oh and then there is this weird stuff called 'greenery' that parts of bris lack.

we have the gospel music festival now it kicks ass 30 000 or more people come from everywhere, i was meant to sing jazz at it last year but i wussed out

Thats really kind. I really enjoy his books and look forward to each of them.. Is he a real regular guy? Is Sanibel like he describes it? I think that I may have to visit.

Randy's a regular guy, aside from the fame and notoriety thing. He owns a restaurant called Doc Ford's here on the island and holds court there occasionally.

Sanibel's a bit more modern and gentrified that it's presented in the books. Still, the old-school charm remains and since this is a federally protected sanctuary island, it'll stay like that for the forseeable future. Sanibel's a nice place to live and a nice place to visit, too.

FWIW, the EB/MM basses in the nearby Ft. Myers Guitar Center are in fine shape:p

Tiffles after reading my post it does sound worse than I meant it. I never would want to fall in BB territory. Looks like I'm buying Tiffs the first cocktail at the Brisbane Forum get together:) I'm hoping to organize some of the newer EB products to be there! Did I mention how kind the Australian importer is? ;)
