Hey Fellas,

I can't decide wether or not to get a new amp head or just go with the new Bass Pod XT Live that's coming out. I'm not really gigging that much, but I 've always been partial to GK amps.Obviously there isn't a huge need for volume in my rehersal room at the house, but I just don't know.
Brent

i would just go with a new amp, though it is more money you never know when u might need the amp or power, and why try to imulate (spelling) if u can just go with the real deal.

I have a Bass Pod XT Pro in my studio. I like it for just its sheer simplicity, and it comes in handy with recording as a fancy di. Its models, though, don't really sound like the amps they are representing (I A/B'ed my Ampeg SVT CL and the Ampeg model through a QSC Poweramp, and it although it had punch, it was off, ditto with an Aguilar preamp). The effects, although useful, sound really digital too. I have yet to use it live, but with my experiences with it so far, I would go for that GK amp
