Has anyone tried one of these yet? I'm wondering how it sounds with the alder body and maple board. I'm very much considering one of these - it would be my first Bongo. Either that or a possibly NT 'Ray.

I'll let you know as soon as possible. Will compare it to my (basswood) Bongo 5 HH with Rosewoodneck. I am very curious on the difference in sound!
