I know that the pickups on the y2d are fairly hot and aggressive, but not quite as hot as the Axis. The 20th Silhouette is rumored to be a LP killer, which to me means buttery smooth and warm pickups, with an excellent tone balance.
As far as I know the neck specs are the same, the only major difference being that you are guaranteed a figured neck on the 20th Anniversary Silhouette.
