TOTO and Lucious take Poconos by storm!!!!!!!

Saw TOTO and Lucios last night at Penns Peak in the Poconos of Eastern PA. Holy smokes----these guys kicked ass. I saw TOTO 22 years ago in 1984 on the IV tour and these guys have just gotten better and were probably more hyped this time!!!! Lucious was the usual cordial host and they really did an excellent show from both the musical and technical standpoints(Simon Phillips is just unnaturally awesome--maybe he's an alien!!). Now to the Guitar stuff----guess who the guitar tech was..............Bob friggin Bradshaw!!!!!! couldn't believe it. Luke played a radiance red Luke with natural headstock and piezo on Rosanna and I'll be over you. He played a carbon blue pearl with matching headstock(like Roubsters) quite a bit and also the black sparkle with matching headstock. He seemed to be playin through his usual rig with 3 2x12 Genz Benz cabs behind him. Simply awesome----I'm gonna go play my Luke now...................

Last time I saw Luke he was using Custom Audio Amplifiers 2X12's. They do look similar.....
I bet it was a Great show, I am gonna catch them in Vegas in September.

Yeah thats what l thought, when l saw Toto about a month ago, he was using 3 2x12 custom audio speakers. Maybe he's updating his rig, looks like he's changed he's guitars too, when he was here he was using the Green Luke with gold hardware (look freakin' sweet), a black sparkle (I think the one from the Amsterdam Dvd, it looked pretty beat up), and a rad red Luke, without matching headstock.

When the show was over, just the look on everyone's face, the look of shock, cause these guys are at the top of their game, you won't be able to find a group of better muso's.

Yeah when l was at the concert l was trying to work out how to get through the crowd, get past the security, past Luke and band, his tech, his personal security, sound guys, so l can get my grubby little hands on that guitar. But l couldn't think of a way to get to it without getting severly beaten. oh well.

His gear sound freakin' sweet though, at both Melbourne and Sydney shows, l was front row right in front of Luke, and his speakers where behind him, so l could hear his amp really well, is stereo, and it was probably the best sounding gear l've ever heard, but when you have guys like Bob Bradshaw working for you, your sound is gonna be top notch too.
