Well, I ordered this VB SR4 fretless non-matcning headstock, with piezo, and took delivery in March of last year. I took the stock roundwounds off and put on a set of TI flats. I have played it for about 4 hours, at home, since. It lives in the case in the upstairs bedroom :) Besides me and the people at EB, no one else has ever touched this bass (I picked it up the day it was delivered to a local store, and it was unopened :) ). Well, I am thinking about trading it for something that will actually get some playing time. Specifically I am looking for a rosewood boarded SR5 (fretted) in similar condition, or perhaps one of Leo's other creations. Hit me with some offers. btw, the bass is mint (besides a few light pickguard fingernail scratches), and plays and sounds wonderful. I just don't ever play fretless. I will include a couple of poor pics.

Whoa, man!!! look at that thing!!! :D friggin gourgeous!
Piezo, too... Hmmm, if it had lines... I would be in big trouble, LOL

Well, its a good thing I didn't make a deal. We are in the process of moving, and my wife took some of my basses to my sister's house -- 300 miles away -- and I sent the EB fretless by mistake (meant to send an EB fretted four string)! I just found out about this. I called my brother-in-law (a great guy, btw) and he said "I opened the cases to see what you sent... nice fretless." So I don't have the bass with me anyway. Oh hell, I guess I'll keep it. Its not eating anything, and I thing I may get inspired with a new set of strings -- EB flats (I hate the TI flats that are on it). You know, it has been my experience that when you think you want to get rid of a bass, you should just put it away for a while. I inevidabally come back and think "I can't believe I wanted to get rid of this." :) Anyway, thanks for looking. :)

:) It may be a while. As I said, I don't have the bass here. PM me your address, and in a year or so expect a suprise!
