Using a whammy bar is new to me. This weekend I was working on the song Sleepwalk which is pretty whammy intensive. My question. Is there a way to snug up the whammy bar so it doesn’t fall away if not actually holding it? I switched over to a SilverSky to learn the song because I got tired of chasing the bar. It was a not a great trade off though because the Cutlass plays easier on the bends. Is there a grommet or anything that can help with this?

Yes. There is a set screw at the back of the trem block. Dive bomb the trem, keep it held there and look at the block from behind the bridge. Use a 1.5 mm allen wrench.

Wow what a difference this made. It took pressure on the Allen wrench more so than even turning the screw. It’s the perfect guitar now... So glad I checked the ego and just asked. Thanks again..
