The new Axis had a bit on grunge on the fret board and neck back, just from normal retail store handling and demoing I suppose. Since there was packet of the fret board conditioner tossed in with the case candy I figured I'd give it a go.
It worked better than I suspected. It took the dirt off and enhanced the look and feel of the unfinished maple nicely. I suspect I will be purchasing some, not to go overboard with, but just for when it needs it. Perfect for those outdoor, Summer gigs, when I'm playing, eating, drinking, and gear-hauling over the beach, all in a few hours. Count me 'impressed'. I'll be keeping one in the case!

Yea it's good stuff :)

Some might argue that you'd be just as well off using lemon oil or whatever, and that may be true, BUT where can you find lemon oil in convenient little single-serve packs?

Yep. love it!

I assume we are talking about Ernie Ball Wonder wipes? Great product. However, I don't think they should be used for each and every gig or so, especially with maple necks, might loosen up the frets and so on. Then again in a very dry environment it's good to make the fretboards moist with this product from time to time.

Yep, tried some of the sample packs I received with my EBMM tool kit and thought they were quite impressive. Did the whole fretboard conditioner, string cleaner, polish treatment and man did my guitar feel sweet after :D

I use the fretboard conditioner wipes every time I change the strings.

Really seems to make the necks feel brand new! Especially my solid Rosewood ALHH!

You can buy them online directly from the Ernie Ball online store if you live in the US or Canada, United Kingdom & Ireland, or France. Otherwise just ask you local stores to order them for you.

If you're on the ebmm online store, don't forget to check out the setting sun ebmm white t-shirts. Very soft cotton:

I hate black t-shirts, so this is a public service message to my like-minded fashionistas.

Those are VERY soft and comfortable. I wore mine yesterday!

The wonder wipe fretboard conditioner works great, I use it every few months if/when my guitars need it.
