Question tuners and tree?

I am wondering if it is possible to buy tuners and a string tree direct from EB? I have an opportunity to get a status graphite fretless neck that I would like to put on my 'ray, but would prefer not to have to change out the tuners and tree every time I switch necks. Now I know I could go to a third party supplier for these, but I would rather stick to EB.

That said, if it were possible, I would gladly buy a loaded fretless neck from EB too, but I understand that this is not possible.

SR EBMM tuning keys = Schaller BM. Just the same tuning keys but with MM logo.

Call Customer Service - they will answer your question. They do repalcements even free of charge but I have no idea will they sell you spare kit in your case.

I doubt it. I think they want to keep the MM logo away from anything that is not genuine MM, as far as they can.

I'd just go for some Schallers if I were you. Or get a whole fretless MM instead of just a fretless neck.

how often are you goin to the "switching out" the neck? It's really not a good idea to be swapping necks all he time. That has a high possibility of damaging the holes for the anchor screws.

Which can be a difficult mod, requires both necks to be modified in the exact same way, makes the necks incompatible with other basses, and has its own set of sonic and practical advantages/disadvantages.

Begging to differ on the underlined claim.

My Moses neck [which by its nature relies on threaded
inserts] has been on at least 4 different bodies. Bodies
need no modding for use with machine threaded necks
so any body that shares the same neck socket and the
same bolt pattern is ready to use.

Since EBMMs use neck plates, the bolt patterning from
bass to bass is consistent. Other brands that don't use
neck plates have proved problematic about swapping
a single neck amongst plural basses.

I can't comment on sonic effects of machine inserts in
wooden necks since I only use them in graphite necks.
