Hi! I just borrowed a used Axis SS, however, i just changed the strings and ever since i have only been able to play for a couple of minutes before one of the strings suddenly go out of tune, the rest of the strings consequently following. I am quite sure it had a lot better tuning stability before i changed the strings, however i only played it for 15 minutes before changing, so I'm not quite sure...

What could be the problem?

Did you:

Stretch the strings?
Use a pencil to clean and lubricate the nut?

If you did, then make sure that there is nothing loose. Or stretch the strings again.

Yup. Stretch those strings out. I bend the string all over the neck and retune till stable. If you are still having a problem, then as mentioned, you can lube the nut with pencil, chapstick or nut sauce. :)

Q. What could be the problem?
A. are you new to EB MM guitars?
If you are new, then a common mistake is to wrap the strings around the tuning peg shaft a number of times - just like you do with for example a Gibson or a Fender. With a MM guitar, just pull the string through the peg as tight as you can with your fingers, then lock the tuner, then tune up and snip off the excess.
Did you do that?
N.B. That's assuming that it has locking tuners!!!! lol
