Some players have found tone nirvana in using two separate speakers, either in one 2x12 or in individual 1x12 cabs.
I’ve gone through a mess of speakers, and while some sound very good, they don’t always play well together. I’ve ditched all of my Celestions, having found greater variety and tone in Eminence (to my surprise!). I’ve found the perfect combination of speakers for my own style and set up: an Eminence Wizard and an Eminence GB128.
What are you folks using?
