Not sure if it was this forum or not but, some time ago I was conversing with someone about a Sting Ray serial# that commenced with an '8' rather than a 'B' and had only 5 digits following, instead of the normal 6 digits. Can that person, or anyone with a serial like that, please contact me.

P.S. It appears to be another numbering system for the Pre EB Basses.
