Just saw that. Seems to be some errors with the page, for example the Artisan Majesty and Axis Super Sport pages are broken for me.
A JP with Floyd! The James Valentine looks killer, will be buying one of those for sure.

Great work with the site EBMM - the old one was dated to say the least.

The 16 is awesome!!! Roasted neck oil finished with ebony board and the scoop is back!!! FR is fine for me as well....I think, i'll have to save up some money!

The 1000 series is a puzzling decision. However, I've heard that sourcing the originals has been problematic for some guitar makers. Washburn was/is actually using them for their US stuff and Gibson has as well. Pound for pound, the 1000 series is the same exact tremolo as the original, but just made in Asia. Don't confuse it with the Special, which does use cheaper materials.

One thing that Music Man gets right, that most fail at, is upper fret access. Most 22 fret guitars can only really be played effectively up to 20. With Music Man, you have the entire neck to work with. Nice to see that continued on the new models.

The floyded JP looks badass! In the same style as the Black Sugar/roasted maple run but with an unfinished neck. Although I thought i wouldn't ever buy a guitar with floyd again, I would make an exception for this one..

but for the JP16 I think they mixed the pics (?) of a standard non- piezo JP16 with the back of a piezo JP16

the description says though that has piezo
but no locking tuners !? hmm

Edit: NM, just read the fine print and it is listed as piezo bridge pickup. The new knob configuration in the pics threw me off.

No piezo, 1000 series bridge, no locking tuners (for quick string change), back to the "wedge" armrest vs the tapered... Keeping the illuminators and the 17" radius (which is the best I've felt yet of the 3 versions).

Can't wait to see the video of JP explaining this one!

Begs the question of how piezo will be engaged/controlled without the extra knob & switch.
