Help! Upgrade jp6 to piezo

I am considering buying the mmjp6 without the piezo (due to cost). Is it possible to upgrade the guitar down the road with the piezo pickup? If so is it cost effective or better to save up and get the piezo included?

Not unless you go aftermarket and then it will cost quite a bit. You are better off simply buying one with a piezo.

It's extremely hard to buy the piezo saddles (or the whole bridge). But it's not impossible, and not cheap Check out this thread on Fractal forum.

Wow, that's hardcore. I put a piezo in my Morse, but the install was pretty ghetto by those standards.

upgrading a JP with piezo is very difficult.
if you want a piezo on your JP, sell it and get the same model with piezo - would be the easiest way i think.
if you like the neck of yours....just keep it and change it with the neck of your piezo JP you will end up buying.

not that big of a jump to get a JP piezo. Save up a few more bucks. Worth it.

Wow, after seeing that thread on the Fractal Audio site - I'd definately save and get the Piezo option - believe me, I have two guitars with Piezo, and I wish they all had them!!
