Anyone know of any upgrades which canbe carried out to a SUB to make it sound better, i.e three band eq? I particualy interested in fitting a pick-up at the neck for slap? anyone know how?

uhh i dont think they are any that you can buy, i think its a kinda mutant overhaul type thing. if you wanted you could take a router, take out some wood for a neck pickup, then call seymour duncan and ask them to make you a two mm pickup system. theyll make one ecactly like the bongo lay out if you want. i asked. but thats my thinking.

If you start altering the bass like that, you will probably void MM's warranty. So be careful!

My guess is you'll end up spending a lot more than you expected.

The easiest way to upgrade a SUB is to buy a Stingray instead
