Will the video from the EB Open House be made available?

I wasn't able to be there Friday or Saturday nights, but I was there all day on Saturday. I'd love to see some video of the evening events I missed.

no chance on the directors cut....

We are pretty bummed out about the sat video we havent seen it yet but Lukes amp troubles and hum through the lighting ruined anychance of a full performance video. We will salvage what we can but it doesnt look promising.....

Too bad...the pic's posted are great, but they just don't tell the real story!

Well, if Pete gives me my camera and tapes back, and I can get my Adobe Premier to capture video like it should (I haven't gotten it to work yet), I was hoping to some of my video out.

BTW- this will only cover bits from Friday afternoon -> Friday night and may take me a while to get it copied unless my program starts behaving.

How about selling copies with the proceeds going to a charitable cause ?

I believe that's what BP's intention was with this dvd, CLB Foundation I thought.

kbaim gave me a good idea on the phone today, any forum member who purchases an instrument from me during our special sale gets a copy of the footage Nick and I shot (none of the artist Q&A, none of the sat night concert/jam)

'course, that's if I give Nick back his camera!

Oh man, that's terrible. I was really looking forward to seeing what it was like to be there. Hopefully something can be salvaged. I'd take it, regardless of quality.

Didn't Luke start that song over once the amp thing was figured out?

It would be great if there was a "LUKE speaks" section. Nobody funnier!

Good luck on whatever you can salvage from the show.

Of course, an Open House II would be awesome. However, I would have to put this event in the "Once in a Lifetime" drawer because it was not exactly cheap on Big Poppa. I am thrilled to have been able to make it and as I look through each picture, a smile comes across my face as to the recent, but lifelong, memories they portray.

Video...I know it was done....will it be available? Don't know. I think so, but do not quote me on that. It would certainly be a great marketing and public relations tool for EBMM.....and I was a part of it.... :D

I am really hopeful that some portion of the concert will be deemed usable. Not necessarily because I want a copy for myself (but who wouldn't?), but because I'd be even happier if Big Poppa could recoup some of his costs for the weekend.

I think the performances by Morse, Petrucci, and Moore were great. Sure, there was an extra drumbeat or something at the end of one of the songs, but I think it could be edited out.

Luke's amp trouble was a bummer, and the hum thing that went on for a while, that's definitely unusable. But I'm holding out hope that EB can glean some useful promotional material from the gig.

I don't remember reading/hearing anything about using the footage for the CLB foundation though.. but that would be another great option.

If they'd like to do the concert over, I'm sure us california forumites would be happy to fill the place again.

Well - that TRULY sucks about the concert from Saturday night......but there's so much more to the event.

BP, you think we'll eventually be able to get copies of the Knucklehead Jam - I'm not terribly interested in seeing myself play my caveman style amongst all the great players, but I would LOVE to have the presentation of my bass on video.

Also the factory tour......

I know you're busy, so I didn't want to email/phone/PM/stalk you on this question.

Thanks!

Jack

Maybe that was an idea I heard someone else tossing around, who knows - so much was said and it was such a great time I'm still coming down from it :D
