Hi everyone. This is my first post here. I´ve been a fan of MM basses since I´ve first heard them back in 1991, with BSSM by RHCP (yeah, I know that Louis Johnson, Tony Levin and many others were famous and already playing them, but that´s when I "discovered" them :( )

I´ve been watching this auction recently. Looks like a "real" pre-EB Stingray to me but really don´t know much about them, that´s s why I need your advice.
I´ve no chance to see the bass right now.

What should I consider before bidding ? (working truss rod, fretboard issues, etc.)
How can I know if it´s 100% original ?
What´s an average US market price for a bass like this ?

Thanks guys !

Let's see-2-band EQ, strings-through bridge, 3-bolt neck, old-style logo, bullet truss rod-I'd say it's an original.

Good luck with your auction, and welcome to the forums!
