Can any one tell me how many pieces of wood make up the body? From the grain pattern it looks like one piece. I can't see any joins anywhere.
 
My AL has an opaque finish, but my Axis Sport with a trans-blue finish appears to have a one piece body - I've looked and looked for a seam and never could find one, and the grain runs through front to back...
