As a huge fan of Axis Sports I came across some very rare pictures of white Axis Sports which must have been quite rare color of the earliest runs.
There's this one for example

...which looks so cool.
There is also the review in German guitar magazine Gitarre&Bass:

Kind of reminds me of the Buttercream run with the tortoise pickguards some years ago.

Anyone got any Infos on these white Axis Sports and why they are barely available on the used market?

I had a white HH Sport years back- not sure why I sold it! Really great look.

I think this was a pic from the seller before I bought it.

I'm guessing they just didn't make many. The usual answer probably applies- if they weren't big sellers, the colour option wouldn't have lasted for too long.

beej - I totally understand why you DON'T understand why you sold it :ROFLMAO:
A bit unusual on first sight, but simply because we don't see many of them around.
Might be that white wan't as popular in the nineties. Maybe we all still had a hangover from the 80's hair metal days where white seemd kind of more popular...
The color pallettes were vast back then - compared to today.

Yeah, should have kept it. It's the age old story ... had an opportunity to buy something else and needed to flip it ...
