Wanting a new to me guitar and think I want one of these. Have a strat, les paul, 339, and currently a 2009 sterling ax40 non d that I love except for lack of forearm contour. So everything considered which would you buy and why?

I'd go for the Reflex- mine is my #1 axe and I can't say enough good things about it - the flexibility of the Series-Parallel coupled with the 5-way selector is covers nearly everything. Still can't believe that they discontinued the model except for Gamechanger (another reason to grab a Reflex)

I have a Relex arriving in a couple days. I'll give you my thoughts once it gets here, but based on my experience with JP and SM models, I can't imagine not loving this guitar.

To repeat what's been said, since you can't try before you buy, I'd go with the better deal between the two. It also is worth considering what kind of pickup switching options you really want.

Well have owned a luke II, silhouette special, floyd silhouette, and a Steve Morse. My favorite neck was the silhouette special and if I could find one in buttercream with trem I would be set! But really want a different looking guitar.

Any one in USA ever but a guitar from Canada and was there any problems? Seems a lot of guitars I want are in Canada.

Never played the AL. There's an HH AL on the wall at Bizarre Guitars in Phoenix though. It's not on their website but I saw it last week. Give them a call.

I have a 25th and I can confidently say you won't be disappointed with that axe. Uniquely voiced, I don't consider it a copy of anything. Mine just sings,"go out and have a bite and she'll still be ringing when you get back." kind of sustain. Incredibly stable. A lot of places you can go with that guitar.

There was a really nice Roasted Neck Silo special in Europe limited run, but can't quite locate it right now.

Looks like they sold it. Really likes the combination myself.

Really like the one with the trem just never ordered from Canada.

Well too bad there wasn't a forumite that could help you out. I'd say email the seller and see about working it. Never hurts to have a discussion.

Good luck, Glenn |B)

So envious! That right there is one of my dream guitars! Congrats!!! That guy has been trying to sell that thing for a while. Nice to see a fellow knucklehead get it! IMHO that guitar along with my AL HH (guitar center version with the split coil feature) are the swiss army knives of EBMM guitars (Gamechanger not withstanding). So many tones - they can do it all.

Enjoy and post some pics when you get it!

The Candy Apple red one with Rosewood neck? Killer guitar - you wouldn't have been disappointed. Great price too.

I saw that one yesterday, great guitar, since it's one of the GC special it's got the push pull switch.

Fair price, good luck if you snag it.
