When Nick was just barely able to walk & talk (5yrs old) he somehow managed to cut off part of his index finger on his left hand. Figgers, he cuts off part of his finger and I have an extra one :rolleyes: The past few years he's been playing guitar and bass, but lately he's been having some difficulty progressing with his playing because he has no feeling in that finger tip.


ANYWAYS

Nick ordered a Blue Pearl lefty LUKE which was due to ship out of SLO today. Turns out that it was ready on Wednesday night, so I had it EB send it overnight express. What a nice brother I am - I didn't tell him it was ready. He's working over at the other store this afternoon, and had told me he wanted to see pauldogx's Radiance Red LUKE which was due to arrive today. I said "no problem, I'll bring it over when I close up for lunch"

Much like the thread I just started for Paul, I swapped cases inside the box. I'm going to show up with a box labled Radiance Red, and then when he opens it, it will be his guitar inside. What a nice brother I am. Fortunately he doesn't have internet access over at the other store, so he knows nothing about my evil plan.

So.......

Feel free to torture my brother by feasting your eyes upon his guitar before he does!

(did I mention I'm a nice brother?)

This is just torture to me... I'm not used to see pics of an EBMM I would actually be able to play!:D Can't wait to get mine...

hahaha, that's awesome man! It's sooooo freakin weird lookin at a lefty guitar tho. It looks all weird and flippy, but none the less it is a Luke.......or is it (since Luke is not a lefty) :D. I'd like to see the face expression when he opens the case.

Also didn't know I had so much in common with Nick - I cut off the tips of 2 fingers on my right hand way back when (14 years old...lawn mower...etc.)

Just curious, is Nick an actual lefty, or is he flipping to switch the affected finger to his strumming vs. his fretting hand?

Nick is a righty, and up until this point in time he has always played guitar, bass, and probably even the skin flute that way but I'm not gonna go and ask him just to know the real answer...

He's learning "lefty" because of his damaged finger.
