what brand tubes do you use?

hey all you tube freaks, i want to know what tubes your using in what amp?

i use the JJ ecc83s for preamps, and JJ or SED 6l6's in my Mesa single recto.....and you?

My Vibrolux currently has stock Groove Tubes in it, but I'll be putting JJ 6L6 power tubes and ElectroHarmonics 12AX7 preamp tubes.

I am currently running JJecc83's and JJEL34's in my XXX, sounds real good, way better than the stock tubes, for the record the new JSX head coming out from peavey sounds incredible-

wow seems jj's are pretty popular. their a great tube and i always though they were a little lesser known.

I've got Grove Tubes EL84's right now but when they "fart out" I'm getting JJ tubes!

I've got some EH 6l6's, JJ 6l6's, and som EI El34's.

The JJ's were bought to see if they'd fix a hiss I have in my vibroverb. They didn't. Once that amp is fixed I'll compare the EH and JJ's.

I'll probably order some JJ 12ax7's pretty soon to see how they do...

hey, jimi you know you can go with JJ6l6's in your deluxe reverb as long as you adjust the bias properly it will sound huge! don't know if any of you have ever been to www.eurotubes.com but Bob there talks about doing that. since in his opinion theirs no decent current production 6v6's being made. he also uses KT88's in his twin....
