GO to the Musicman Intruments section. Click on Silhouette Special. A beautiful Silhouette Special pops up. Some sort of blue, pearl pick guard, maple neck.

Those are the two colors I am considering.

I am not sure if they are: blue pearl or carbon blue or even some other color that is no longer available.

I am trying to decide on a color for the LUKE I am going to order. I might just go with black. But, every so often, I see a color that I really dig.

Yes I think that color is very nice. I have a pearl purple silo bass and the color for this one is just like it. I have noticed that with digital photography, purple seems to be a difficult color to recreate. Everyone loves the IR capability of their cameras but you just can't see it. It seems that UV protection is going to far.
I think those pictures are some of the best guitar photos I have seen in a while. And I really like the purple.

I heard Steve Morse once say, " I've been in Deep Purple for 11 years and I still don't have a purple guitar". I am so glad that he (and I) will have one (or more).
