So there I was in the Wheelchair bus this morning on the way home to Sweetie's waitingarms and suddenly I was GASSING for a STerling 5 with rosewood in H/Piezo and the thought hit me, "What Colour would I grab from the rack today, for a quckie outdoor all ages communityfolk gig late October cloudy, cool, atumn leaves all around and the frost lifting nicely from the pumkins ...

Instantly, it hit me "Tobacco Burst":)
Only thang is I'm not so sure about the pickguard, but I think I'm feeling some "Moonstone comin' on:cool:

Thoughts and OPinions as well as your own choices for today including a brief weather reportfrom your area Pleeze:)
Thanx EH //:)

Trans orange, of course.

Well - or black and maple.

Me, I've chosen a lovely old Sapphire Black Bongo 5 HH for my evening entertainment. A lone vote for Sapphire Black, perhaps?

These Bongos-Come-Lately distract me and entertain me, never doubt it, but sometimes I go back to Old Homey Bongo and remember why I fell in love with Bongos in the first place.

Tobacco Burst is one fine finish, though.

It's maybe 60 degrees out right now. Might get up to 70 tomorrow. Lovely weather for Texas, and I am just smart enough to have appreciated it all day today, having spent the day out with my soon-to-be six year old, admiring vintage American cars and eating hamburgers.

Cheers to you and the lady, sir!

PZO, my unmet friend...

I just got home from a visit with my mother-in-law, who has terminal leukemia....those less fortunate than I are very much in my thoughts.

And it's the memory of the sound of the music I have made with my MM bass that sustains me, as I sincerely hope it sustains you.

Every time I think of my beloved piezo I think of you.

Anyway, I live here in the FANTASTIC Northeast (go Sox!), a place that is incomparable at this time of year. If you have never seen fall foliage, you owe it to yourself to visit us at least once in your life. Today's weather was perfect...temps in the 50s-60s, clear, breezy, with the scent of the forest in the air. I wish we were still able to burn leaves....what memories.

It's days like this that make me realize that the balmy beauty of SoCal is nice to visit...but it can't hold a candle to a perfect October day in New England. Eleven months of various crap are worth it for a day like today. It makes me glad to be alive.

What color? +1 on the Trans Orange, with TORT, of course!

Be well, man, and stick around! Your posts are a true highlight of my day!

PS: Click the new link in my sig....some piezo sounds there. Better stuff to come, I promise!

Humidity: Foggy.

Stealth Black - what else for All Hallows Eve? ( Although Desert Gold is lookin mighty fine, too). First frost here in the mid-atlantic region today. Breezy and crystal clear at about 55 for a high. The trees are about halfway turned, if they keep their promises, it should be spectacular here in another week or so. All the best Pzo!

OK, so It's dreamin' time again, I'm walking past my rack full of BONGOs:) on the way to load my '68 Mustang 2+2(did have one, but it's someone else's now) for today's imaginary gig (local high school gym sock hop of 60s R&B in memory of the once favourite local band "The Tombstones" and today's pick of the crop dedicated to "Mustang Sally is a Candy red/black Ice BONGO5 HS/Piezo ... The Black Ice is for respect to my old"Stang's black vinyl and carpet interior... the Candy Red is a tribute to the paint. What a car:), my Ex- wife sure liked it, enough to bicker about it during our divorce settlement:rolleyes:
cloudy and cool outside, but the sweat and heat is up on the dance floor:)

/PL:)

Lucky me, I can still almost smell my high school honey's perfume (class of '68) Central Ontario when all the best tunes blasted on car radios from AM stations CKEY and CHUM in Toronto... aaaaaanybody else remember back then and/or back there?:)

I'm 5'7" if I stand up straight, she's probably a bit less than 5 feet (not certain) and he's something like 6'3" or 6'4".

I'm usually the guy who sets up the gear at gigs. I set his mic height by standing in front of it and whacking my head with the windscreen...if it hits the top of my forehead it's about right. :D

Sing-Along-With John

The Battle's on, It's "ME"against "rehab" and I'm gonna win:); if they won't help me recover my left arm, My SWEETie and I are doin' it ourselves ... and the target gig is the regular rehab/ ECU thing with a piano player named "John" ... he and I have already connected snd he's open to me playin' along with him once I can get the fingers happening again ... it's all extremely old-time old folks home funstuff and there is certainly a need here for whoomping it up a bit, just to keep the blood circulating up on the 3rd floor ECU and hence a small reduction in the dailymortality rate ... all's we gotta do next is smuggle some beer for theoldsters ... and the pick of the day is a LAVA PEARL/ Black pearloid BONGO6 H/Piezo just to add some colour and excitement to this place:) in the fireplace lounge where we gig here:cool:

Of course I'm assum ing the BONGO6 is available in H/PIEZO:)
Cheers Y'Z'All/PL:)
