That'll be the Sabre? I think they were out and about in the early eighties but were not as popular as the Stingray...

Actually, BP and the Gang have reintroduced the idea of dual pickup MM basses. I thought they would be hitting the shelves in Jan.? Hopefully somebody a little more knowledgable will be along to dispell all doubts. I haven't been paying attention 'cuz I got my Bongo and I'm happy (well atleast until I can afford another one)
