Hey everyone, I was reading Big Poppa's thread on how to get the most out of the forums, and I started thinking about why I stop and read this forum at least twice a day. There are many reasons, but I will post just a few (In no particular order). Please feel free to add to my list!

1. Great Products - (the best guitars and basses in the world)
2. Great Customer Service - (running born on dates, answering questions, ect.)
3. Great Knowledge Base - (it's like having our own personal guitar tech. Jongitarz)
4. Great Members - (everyone is so willing to help out)
5. Great Company Involvement - (Sterling Ball posts here all the time)
6. Great Surprises - (Artist Q and A, Open House, Photos of Prototypes - which by the way is probably one of my most favorite things!)

Because it's one of the few places in the world where people will actually talk to Colin & Me. ;)

In all seriousness though I think the reason was typified recently with that thread that attacked BP. So many people jumped to his defense, not because he's the owner of the company, but because it is a "family" here.

We're a pretty diverse bunch, we don't always agree with each other, but we all have a common love EBMM instruments.

Also whenevr I've had a question there are so many forumites more than willing to help, not to mention the great help from the EB staff.

I used to frequent about 5 forums - now it's only one.

I could go on and on all day about all of the great things about the forum but it all boils down to the passion that we all share. Not only that, I like hanging out with you nuggetbrains. :D

All the best,
Beth :)

well stated Jim

I so wanted to say "Hey vinyl!, Shut Up!" But I just couldn't do that.

It's a cool hang, the people are top notch. We are talking about awesome instruments here and well that's enough for me.

BP, thanx for the forum, I've met some great people and hope to meet many more from here.

Where do I find the Big Poppa's thread about how to get the most out of this forum?.
I am new to this and need all the direction I can get . So far it has proved to be an invaluable resource.
(Especially after my recent development of an obsession for the JPM).
