i use .71 mm Dunlop 500 pink picks
and i think they're the best :D

ppp...i....ck....what is this word you speak of, i never use these things....haha, j/k i rarely use a pick, and if i want one i bum it off my guitarist....he has millions.

I use 'Icepicks', they come in aluminum, stainless, brass, copper, excerta. Make tired strings sound newer to. GREAT on acoustics.

I don't use picks, although i'm learning to play with it, some songs sound just better when playing with a pick. I try to use Jim Dunlop 0.88mm

i use either Dunlop Stubby Triangle 3.0 mm or Dunlop Tortex Triangle .73 mm. depends on the mood I am in.

for playing fast punk rock you need a pick
although the stingray has an amazing bright sound
it sounds cooler with a pick!

"real bass players dont use picks"

i like the pick sound better so i use it,
does that make me not a real bass player? hehe
well i suck anyway so just forget it.

oh, and speaking of nails as picks...could you strum the hell out of your bass with your nails? dont think so :p
