What strings do you use for Ernie Ball Earthwood Acoustic Bass?

Hello everyone! I have a question for the owners of Ernie Ball Earthwood Acoustic Bass. It's in the title. Are there any specific strings that in your opinion work better than others? If so, what's your choice of stings and why?

As far as I can tell, all acoustic bass guitar strings out there are Phosphor Bronze wrap, so they'll all sound pretty similar no matter who makes them. But each brand may have their own ratio of core to wrap diameters so even at the same nominal string gauge they'll each play a little different under the fingers. Only one way to find out what works best for you. Suck 'em and see!

I’ve found that sticking with phosphor bronze is the safest bet, but tension and core design really change the feel on an acoustic bass. Have you considered trying a slightly lighter gauge first to see how it responds on that body size?
