Good Charlotte's lead guitarist gets a signature model musicman guitar and there is no Jack Williams Bovine Bongo. This just cant be right.

I hear you, my brother, I hear you.

Is there no end to the insult?

I hope the Ball family is reading very carefully, because I won't be treated like a cheap plaything forever.

the or yeah I probably will

Jack

They should seriously consider the Bovine Bongo. That would be an awesome lim. ed. color. No offense, but EBMM's color choices for the lim. ed. runs aren't the snazziest things to hit the market.

That photo was just sort of a joke, but the more I look at it, the more I like it.

I will tell you guys something, seriously. I think the Bongo is the most revolutionary bass to be built in the last 25 years or so. A friend of mine described it as the "Swiss Army Bass" and I think he's right.

I am just glad to have been around, to be playing bass and to have the good fortune to be able to afford a Bongo or two, when they were new and everyone was scratching their collective heads over the design.

Still, my own signature model must be built, I'm sure you guys are right.

Jon, could you tell The Powers That Be that we have a consensus?

Hey gang, this is Doug reporting from the NAMM show in Nashville! I had the pleasure of getting my pic taken with Mr. Sterling and trying out a L.E. Bongo HH just like Bovine has on order. Sweeeet! I'll upload some pics when I get back so you can see the MM booth.
Talk to you all again in a couple of days!

Douuuug... Why didn't you hook me up with a pass?! After all the shameless plugs I've put in for you...!

:p

Good Charlotte? You got to be kidding...

Where's the Tony Levin Sig Bass? No offense Jack ;)

Somebody must be

I hate Good Charlotte with every pop-punk loving bone in my body. They are a disgrace to the term music.

Aside from the 3 string model, what would a Tony Levin signature model BE?

I think he plays pretty basic EBMM models. He has had some nice finishes, though.

We could have the "relic" model. You know the yellow one with the blue stripes that looks like it's been beat to hell and back ;)

Most "signature" models are really basic models with some minor changes, etc. So why not?

Here's one:

Another - Is this a sabre?

And another:

I can't find a pic of the yellow one :(

In all honestly - I feel most Sig models are overrated.

hmmm.....
what type of music does tony play?
whats his bands name?
and, doesnt he have a barbie pink bass? that could be his signature. id buy that one if its a ray.

Tony Levin has played with tons of different artists. From Peter Gabriel to King Crimson and on and on... Plus he does his own thing from time to time.

Musically speaking, he's very basic in what he does. He just has a great musical vocabulary and great tone!
