I wonder what is in store for the Axis at the winter Namm 2007? I haven't seen or read anything about the anniversary model in all black as of yet. The winter Namm 2006 had a few models in black, but not in the Axis. That guitar was not at the show.
A cream color with gold hardware sounds interesting or even all black hardware I could go for! Does anyone have any information on what the consumer may look forward to?

I still wish Ernie Ball would make those leather straps with the velcro that a certain former endorsee was using.

Hi I am still around. Been very busy working, but I always have time for my love for guitars. I love Namm and always enjoy the Ernie Ball booth and all the cool guitars there. Are you going to winter Namm, if so maybe we can meet for a pop and chat.
see ya later

The Ernie Ball booth always has something crazy going on. Last year at Namm, the booth had a putting course. Who knows what it wil be this winter. I hope you can make it to Namm some day. You will get hooked and want to go every year. It's an addiction you can't get out of your blood.:)

how about a fire engine red with black hardware

or black with gold hardware... mmmhhmmm! that would be awesome!

Why doesn't EB use Gold hardware? is it because it's too brittle and won't retain the look of the chorme?

Black w/ gold hw, is the LE this year... you could get one like that from what I understand.

I'm pretty sure I've read some EB staff member posting about the gold hardware too, and I believe you're right about why they don't usually offer it.

I thought that the new Music Man innovation for 2007 was interchangable necks and bodies on all guitars. You know Luke neck on Morse body. :D

Wouldn't that be the only way to keep the forumites happy? We see a question about that here every couple of weeks?

Simon

P.S. don't forget they would all come in sparkle finishes too.

That would be sweet on a Silo!!!!!!

I wish the Silo had more burst or trans finishes.

You'll never be able to achieve that. With over 80,000 choices and Foggy still hasn't made up his mind.

I thought it was 800 000 choices?
Anyways, I think I've considered them all! :p

As nice as the maple tops on Axis models are (with Floyd Rose trems - mine are Amber quilt and Emerald Green quilt), I would like to see a solid white with creme binding. That look, to me, screams sophistication, particularly with a nicely figured maple neck....

Or black binding, like a Wolfgang. That would be sweet.
