I was looking at Dubaldo Music's site and the recently sold EBMM guitars page. Most are Pets on that page.

What's the best selling EBMM guitar these days? Anyone know? EBMM people? Pete? Other dealers? Just curious.
 
This is not an official answer, but just judging by what I see going out the door, it's the JP.
 
JP was my first one. Now I am tryiing to decide what is next. 20th Silo, or Luke Ltd. , or candy Red Luke.

I wonder if that will change next year? MM has really outdone themselves with the Y2D, both anniversary models to come and the new LE. And outdoing themselves wouldn't be an easy job, bring on 2006!

That page needs to be deleted or updated.... I havent touched it in over a year, in fact I don't even have a link to that page on my site any more, because it was too much of a hassle to update it. :eek:

Petrucci models are my top seller, but lately the interest in Silhouettes has been going up. y2ds are a whole nother game
 
Man, that Y2D, I gotta get me one of those. I'm just not in a financial position to afford one right now. Who knows when I'll be able to afford one. I gotta get some more "Balls." So many nice guitars. I want more JPs in different colors and a 7-string too. Would love to try a Silo. Would love to try a Luke in good condition. I tried one at a Sam Ash in Ontario, CA, which had big set-up problems. Unfortunate. Seemed like it would have been great otherwise. Come to think of it, the JPs I tried there also had similar problems. It wasn't until I tried my JP in a Guitar Center near where I live now in MI that I found one without set-up problems.

That would probably be only because it didn't sit on the floor loong enough to get tortured/fooled around with. They come with great setups from the factory, and if it's a new instrument and funky to play, it means that someone messed with it. :)
 
I'm trying to decide between a Y2D or another Pet (w/piezo) as my "I gotta new job" present to myself.... decisions, decisions. Man do I love Balls...er...ah, nevermind. :D

I'm trying to decide whether or not to go for a 7 string Pet now, to go with my 6!
 
I did, I bought a fully loaded JP6 in Candy Apple Red. Its incredible! The tone and feel are different enough to justify the purchase. I like playing 6 string tunes on the 6 much better, and use the seven for obvious reasons. Through my Peavey JSX Combo, they sound amazing and cover a lot of tonal territory. I'd post pics if I could figure out how to make the files smaller.
 
There must have been a ton of axis (in all its different forms) sold over the last
12/13 years.

I would love an axis/y2d hybrid. Axis body with all of the Y2D trimmings.

Hi All,

For us, in terms of guitars, it's definitely the Petrucci above all others.

After that it would probably be the Axis Super Sport, since there are so may variations you can get in that model.

I'm having JP6 withdrawals - I've not played in a week - I'm finishing a huge IT design project so I can graduate from my university on saturday.

Sunday I'll be playing all day - lock myself in my music room.

it's propably the same here in france !

I had the chance to check one last year...excellent guitar, with a lot of warm, does not sound like "another guitar for metal / shred" ...I loved it.

but what about this proto shown at the open house?

will there be a pettruci II ?
 
Nope the JP proto isn't happening from what BP's said.

Though he did make mention that there maybe some changes to the JP. Though he hasn't thrown us any bones yet (I'm gonna regret saying that).

Well, Big Poppa said they decided to go in another direction.

So, while the neck-thru mahogany JP may be a dead issue.. there may still be a JP2 in the works. But until JP finds something to his liking, no one will know!
