Some of us buy, sell, and trade faster than others. Theres a good chance if youve gotten rid of enough basses, youll wind up with regrets.

Ive said mine a million times, the Desert Gold Single H Bongo 5. Miss that one bad. Lesson learned.

So is there an EBMM bass that you sold or traded, and now you regret it? Which one was it?

Heres mine :( :

I've said it a few times - my NAMM 100th Anniversary

NAMM-Ray_front_case.jpg

Second most would be this '76 Stingray (it's MM not EBMM)

That NAMM 100th Anniversary 'Ray was a hot number. I love that finish and pickguard combo.

These two Sabres. The late one on the right was the nicest of that era I've ever had and the 79 on the left was only 8.8 lbs. Both sounded great. What can I say, I'm an idiot...

Thanks for the reminder Randy. :( That white sparkle Sterling is right there next to the Single H Bongo. That was a great bass too, and I miss it as well. The neck on that one ROCKED.

I miss this one...I could only only afford to keep one bass at any one time and needed a Fender Jazz for some recording work I'd landed. She was a super player. I had to put a bit of love into it though, Loctite in the Piezo bridge saddles as they kept sinking and I had to be careful of the G 'because it was really close to the fretboard edge in the higher register. The neck was superb to play though, I could adjust the trussrod so that the neck had barely any relief and to this day I reckon its the fastest playing neck I've ever had the pleasure to play.

20 some years ago... I had to get away from the environment for health reasons
(drinking, etc.) so I quit music altogether and sold all my stuff (looking back, was
the right thing to do). Didnt know about MM basses at the time, my bass was
an oddball, a Riverhead (I think...), unique shape, body color was some sort of
mother of pearl, RW neck, black headstock, two strings were wound onto the
flat of the headstock, the two others were wound "through" the headstock (sort
of like a classical guitar). Had active pickups, very badly designed, had to put a
fresh battery at every gig, LOL

But for sentimental reasons, I would buy back if I could... hang it on the wall
Heck, I cant even find a picture of it on the web... I guess it's a dinosaur :D

I have that same bass minus the piezo and I too can get the neck with less relief than any of my other basses.I love the Black Pearloid pickguard on it, mine is black.
