Which Pickguard Colour???

Right now I'm torn between choosing the colour for my future Silo.
I'm trying to decide between black or carbon blue pearl.
Which ever colour I don't get will most likely be the colour of my second EBMM :rolleyes:
Quick low down for those of you that don't know.
Silo H-S-H with piezo, vintage trem, piezo, and all maple neck with non-matching headstock.
If I go with the black then the pickguard will be black as well.

Now if I get the carbon blue pearl well ???? I'm not too sure on the pickguard colour.
I was thinking solid black or white for a simpler look.
I like the abalone but it looks like too much. It's sort of too pretty!?
I think white ice is a possibility.
I'm pretty sure that black ice and black pearl don't blend as well.
So you guys have seen more of these in real life then I have. Sure I've saved a lot of pics, but they all look different.
So what do you think????
 
I think you should really go with the Carbon Blue Pearl at this point. I completley fell in love with it after I recieved my Vintage Sunburst Silo. I REALLY love the sunburst and it is unique, but I really want a Silo in CBP. PLus I think the maple neck is going to complement the CBP better than regular black. And as for the PG which is your main topic, why not the Abalone??? I think it would spice it up a little bit, but I dont think it's going to be too much over the top since the CBP is pretty laid back color. My other choices after the abalone would be either white ice or pearloid or straight up black. I think any of these choices will go nicely with that set up. Good luck with the decision :cool: .
 
Almost every Guitar center has a sap black bongo with moonstone Bongo. They are quite the lookers. Moonstone is like abalone in black and white. So it's not quire as pretty as abalone. Perhaps that's good for your needs.
Ohh I found a picture of the moonstone. I would post the picture but well whatever.

I just ordered an HSH Piezo Trem Silo Maple non matching GrapHearl Moonstone.
From what I have seen black pups come with the moonstone guards. I think I like the looks of black pups on blue guitars. Knowing you want my favorite model and features endears me to you even more.

I hope Big PoPPa doesn't see this. If he finds out someone fell asleep at the switch he will have their head.

I have a black pearloid guard on my silo and it looks sweet, they seem to look nice on any guitar, even sunbursts...

I would say that's the best combination for the moonstone!
