White Bongo Alert!

"White Bongo Alert!"

Did anyone else just get the mental picture of a Sid and Marty Kroft bad, bad sci-fi/surfer insect kids' show?

Hmmmm ...

I'm dating myself here but would that be The Bugaloos? (http://www.vicksburg.com/~pegasus/)

Yeah, it was bad but "White Bongo Alert" actually makes me think about:

"Uh-oh ... CHANGO" (Let's see who remembers THAT one!)

I guess I'm more from the "uh oh, Spaghetti-O!" pseudo-generation :D

Hmmm...

As a fan of White EBMMs, I must say that I like the Buttercreme Bongos better.:D :p

I think it would look better (definitely) with a tort guard, though.

The Sunburst SR5 next to it... Is it me or does it look like it needs a lemon oil spa treatment?

The Bugaloos...the Bugaloos. They're in the air, and everywhere. Flying high, flying free--trippin' out on LSD.

Or, um.......something like that.

Those white Bongos have been at Bass Central for awhile--if you are going to inquire about it make sure to ask that the color of the neck matches the color of the body--there's a reason white is no longer offered on Bongos, ya know? And, of course, considering that the single H5 Bongo that Travis bought from them (that has subsequently been passed around like it was a crew slut on Phideaux Three) is still listed on the site, I wouldn't get my hopes up that it's still there.

Oh yeah, Jason. A few basses Ive owned are still on the Bass Central website.

I dont know if I have all the steps, but that Single H Bongo was here with me in GA, then off to Brad Dell in Seattle for a day or two, down to Dallas to Jack, and now with Ken in IL. Still a killer bass, that I wish I had kept.
