White pickup covers?!?!?

Ive been having trouble finding any, or any information on them in general.
I know a couple of you on here have one, and if its cheap and easily installed id really like to get my hands on a SR4 white pickup cover.

can you install it yourself? are they cheap? where can i get one, and will they fit the SUB bass pickup? thanks yalll.

White pickup covers are only available on Single pickup SR5's with certain pickguards. No luck for you on the SR4.

Brad Dell has some aftermarket white covers on his SR4s. Maybe he will chime in soon with a source.

Dumb question here...are the Sterling pickups the same size as the SR's? I too like the white covers.

Larry at Aero Instrument is the only source I know of and they are not cheap! I think they are worth the cost because of the significant improvement to the tone of the bass.

Sterling pickups are the same size but the coils are glued into the cover.

Yes, pickup covers are one of the things that can offer vastly improved tonal response, but let's not forget different knobs.

People discount the tone improvements available through knob replacement, but it's no joke.

White pickup covers are much brighter than black...everyone knows that.

One often overlooked improvement is to tuck your shirt in. Better intonation, beefier bottom, cleaner delivery.

That is the funniest thing I have seen all day!

A finely contoured beer belly on the other hand...is required to let the bass resonate at the proper frequency to achieve maximum rumble.
