Who here likes reversed headstocks?

I dig them for Strats and super Strats. The darklord looks cool but I don't know how well the other headstocks would translate
 
Just saw Jeff Beck in concert and he was playing a white strat with reverse headstock.
First tour i can remember him doing that.
Not a fan of the look personally.

The look is fine but I'm surprised no one has said anything about what it does to your playing.

For EBMM guitars, it probably changes very little, but on a "6 on a side" headstock it will change quite a bit.

Jeff Beck, if I'm not mistaken, uses a locking nut and vintage trem system so for him it would be looks only. Otherwise, I think it might actually improve the tuning stability of a Stratocaster as the dreaded string tree would be on strings that you don't bend as much.

I alwAys opt for it if given the choice
Then again, it's only usually on ibby/esp head sticks

Personally EBMM is too classy looking for a reversed, those are for shred/metal aggressive looks, EBMM isn't aggressive looking , it's sharp, streamlined , and classy, don't belong on the majesty, the new flagship of all electrics

So I love reverse headstock ... With the right body style n neck
 
I have owned just about every reverse headstock guitar. I don't think it would look too hot on the EBMM.

You're mistaken... Jeff's Stratocaster doesn't have a locking nut, it has an LSR Roller Nut with Schaller locking tuners, and no string trees. It's a damn stable guitar, see what the man does with it.
 
On a regular Strat I love a reverse headstock, only because it makes the low strings feel more slinky.... And I loves me some wicked Zakk Wylde vibrato!

Neat article, but is missing one factor that I think might be important when bending on a tremolo-equipped guitar - and that is that the bridge moves - what I think is a significant amount compared to the subtle changes in string length outside the nut-to-bridge area.

Exactly my point... I love the lower strings to feel loose. It's kinda neat. I have a Strat and a Tele with reverse headstock and I really dig how they feel
 
love the look on the dark lord but don't think it would fit an axis guitar.
with jackon headstocks it's awesome and strat headstocks look cool as well.

Yeah, that's true. But it's something to be added at the end of the equation.

I actually like all the strings loose. That's why I use a custom balanced .008 gauge with 2 springs on the back of my JP6. Yeah, extreme.

really think about getting another one and let a luthier put on a floyd rose :)
