Fess up :)

Those of you who have handled this beast, what's the string spacing like? The weight? Compare it to the SR5 or sumthin.

I want one but chances are I won't get to test drive it for a while :(

I used to do a ton of 5 and 6 work (even had a 12 for awhile) - now I am just about the 4. I will say that after handling the 2 sixes (the blue and the silver) at the last OH I am very tempted to try again (probably won't but they felt great)

What was the string spacing like OJ? :)

"Hand raised". Pete's hooking me up on a B6.

Outstanding!

I was a bit overwhelmed by everything going on so I can't be exact on it but it was close to the spacing on the 5 maybe a touch wider.

First the blue one

Then a funny thing happened... there was this bass just hidding in the corner next to the cabinets (seriously) - pulled it out and low and behold

Next thing I know it is wisked out of the room and LaRue was playing it. Good timing on the pict I guess

After this B6 I have a Sterling 5 to get and maybe a B5.
I have a lot of basses to replace this year.
Then a BFR JP if all goes as planned.

I wish I could say I had one in the works, but I've got too much stuff to do to my house this year, I think. :(

Hopefully, next year's ltd ed will be as cool as this year's so I can order a SC/H Bongo 6.

I know the pangs of jealousy will be hitting me hard once they start to hit the streets.....you'd think three Bongos would be enough to keep me happy, but no.

Just got off the phone with Scott (isn't it amazing for a major maker that the guy who makes the bass actually answers the phone?).

Am comfy with all the answers I got about the technical stuff.:)

Dang where did I put Pete's cell#?

Will be paging Pete here shortly with the order.

Was really impressed with the blue one in CA.
