I just got word that I'm going to be doing a couple of shows with that girl alexa (www.alexavetere.com) at NAMM again this year. Decided to stay for a week more with a friend in LA. Anybody got any gigs I might want to go to? Any advice for things to do while in LA? It's only the second time I've ever been there. I'm going to also try and hook up some happening auditions and stuff like that.

Soo... who's goin to NAMM anyhow???

Alexa is still playing the lit match looking minarik guitars, but she's been using one's that are a little tamer. they've expanded their line and make some pretty cool looking ones now. Ones that don't look like they're on fire.

NAMM isn't in LA, I'm headed there after NAMM for about a week to hang with a friend.
 
ARGGHHH! I'd love to go but can't (no one to get me in). I sneaked into the Summer Namm here in Austin and loved it, but I heard from a lot of people that it sucked compared to Anaheim.
 
How does one get into a show like this?

I am assuming, that since it is a trade show, that unless you are a manufacturer or a retailer, or perhaps the media, you are not getting through the doors. Is that about right?
